Happy Thursday Spartans! The Spartan Varsity basketball teams are back in action tonight at home as they close out the 2023 year. The Spartans will host Storm Lake St. Mary's in a varsity-only matchup with the girls tipping off at 6 and varsity boys to follow. The Spartan JH boys and girls are also back in action tonight at home as they host Charter Oak-Ute with both being 1 game and the girls tip-off at 4. This is the JH boys' last game of 2023. If you are planning to make gingerbread houses with your 1st grader this afternoon, the activity will begin at 2:30. All guests are REQUIRED to sign in at the Elementary office. If you plan to take your student afterwards, you MUST sign the student out in the office. Thanks!
Reminder that the West Monona Elementary Winter Concert will take place tonight in the High School Auditorium. Students Should arrive 15 minutes, prior to the start of their programs. Concerts will begin as follows:
Kindergarten & 1st: 6:00 PM
2nd & 3rd: 6:45 PM
4th & 5th: 7:30 PM

The Spartan JV/V-B/G are also back in action today as they host the Bulldogs of Boyer Valley. Both JV Girls and JV Boys will be playing 2 quarters with the Girls starting at 4:30. The Spartan Wrestling team headed north today to the Elk Point-Jefferson Tournament in Elk Point, SD with wrestling starting at 10 am. Sock donations will be accepted at the next three basketball games (Dec 12, Dec 18, and Dec 21) or can be dropped off at the school anytime.
