**Reminder for Elementary Parents**

Tomorrow is Homecoming Dress to Impress Day and Elementary School Picture Day, please remember not to wear green!

It's officially Homecoming Week!!
Students are currently working hard decorating their hallways!
Come and join in watching Powder Puff Football at 4:15pm on the Football field, then you can come in and bid on a football jersey or cheer shell at the Auction in the auditorium at 6:00pm. Cheer will also have a table with old uniforms for sale! Following the auction, join us in the gym for Powder Buff Volleyball!!
All times are approximate and will directly follow the event before them (with a little transition time in between).

West Monona Volleyball Youth Night is tomorrow, Monday September 8th! Have your student wear either their volleyball camp shirt or volleyball jersey to the Varsity match to be recognized before the game at 7 PM! Go Spartans!

West Monona Cheer will be having their annual car wash tomorrow, Saturday, September 6th from 10:00am-2:00pm at Diamond Collision. This is a free will donation car wash. So while you are out and about this weekend, swing on through and support the girls who support our athletes and student body all year long!

Hallway Decorating (students only) 2-4pm
PowderPuff (football feild) 4:15-5:45pm
Football & Cheer Jersey Auction (Auditorium) 6:00-7:30pm
PowderBuff (Gym) 7:30
Please note that all times after hallway decorating are approximate, and could start a little sooner or later depending on the activity prior.

***JR High Volleyball schedule change***
JR Volleyball's game that was scheduled for Tuesday, September 9th in Ponca has been replace with a HOME game against Omaha Nation. Game will start at 4:00pm.

Elementary School Pictures will be Tuesday, September 9th.

High school and middle school pictures are on Thursday, September 11th!

Registration for West Monona Spartan Fall Baseball - coach pitch through majors - ends August 31st.

West Monona received a notification from the Iowa Boys Athletic Association that we are one of the schools who did not have any unsportsmanlike ejections for the 2024-25 school year! Mr. Tom Keating, the executive director, congratulated us as one of the 183 schools in the state of Iowa who achieved this. Only 46% of the schools in Iowa received this letter. This served as a notice that conduct and sportsmanship count in High School Athletics. Congratulations to all our coaches and student athletes who were involved this past year.

Spartans kick off their season in Paullina tonight as they take on the Wolverines of South O'Brien! Grab your friends and fill your cars so we can pack the stands and cheer on the boys! Kick off is at 7pm.

Attention HS Football, Volleyball and Cheer!! Your fall sports pictures are now avaible to view and purchase. Please follow the link. Please note, you do NOT have to have PayPal to make a purchase. Ordering for these pictures will close on September 22. Pictures will be delivered biweekly to the HS school, so if you order early, you won't have to wait to get your pictures. ***REMINDER*** Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27th will be an 8:20 start time due to the 2:30 early out.

The first day of school is tomorrow, August 25th! Monday-Thursday are 2:30 dismissals with Wednesday, August 27th being an 8:20 start. Friday, August 29th, will be a 1:30 out! Hope everyone has a great first week of school!
