Any student participating in the musical (actors, singers, dancers, stage crew, lights/sound, etc) MUST be at dress rehearsal tonight and tomorrow night (Monday & Tuesday). Students should be in costumes and ready to go on stage by 6:30 PM.
Spartan Fans, IT IS JH BASKETBALL SEASON! The Boys and Girls start the 2024 season tonight! The girls are at home vs. Westwood. The two-quarter game will be at 4, with the full four-quarter game to follow. The boys are on the road as they head to Sloan to take on the Rebels. The 7th grade game will be at 4, with the 8th grade game to follow. GO SPARTANS!!!!

**JH Boys and Girls Basketball Schedule Change** Due to a scheduling conflict, the Siouxland Christian game that was scheduled for December 9th in Sioux City has been canceled for both Boys and Girls. However, the Spartan JH Girls will be playing Siouxland Christian on Friday, November 15th in the HS gym. The Boys JH team has picked up a second game with Schleswig on December 9th at home. Spartan Community! MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The West Monona Musical Department is proud to present the 2024 Fall Play, Guys and Dolls! Showtimes are Thursday, Nov 14th, Friday, Nov 15th, and Saturday, Nov 16th with doors opening at 6:30 and the play starting at 7pm. Admission is $6 per person, sorry no passes will be accepted. The Boosters has only two fundraisers a year, and very minimal meetings. We help provide items needed for the whole district: classroom, athletic and fine arts, provide meals during conferences, field trips for PK-12 and so much more! **K-5 Winter Concert Announcement** Due to a scheduling conflict on December 5th, the K-5 Winter Concert will now be on Friday, December 6th starting at 6 pm.
Reminder that as the weather is cooling off, students need to bring a jacket, coat, warm weather gear. etc. As the handbook states: Students are required to wear coats if it is below 55 degrees, hats and gloves below 32 degrees. The “feels like” temperature will be used to determine this. If students do not have proper clothing, they may not be able to attend outside recess that day. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach out to the school.
