In Geometry class the students are learning about logic statements and how to evaluate the truth of statements. This topic is to prepare them for the big idea of writing geometric proofs! Many mathematical ideas we learn about in high school were proved many years ago by mathematicians using the process of evaluating the truth of mathematical statements. Through the process of writing proofs students gain a better understanding of the math ideas they use daily. In the attached picture, the students are playing quizlet live to study the vocabulary of logic statements. They enjoy the opportunity to get out of their seat and complete for stickers!
